Maximilian von Weichs Saluting the Parade in Warsaw

General der Kavallerie Maximilian Reichsfreiherr von Weichs (Kommandierender General XIII. Armekorps) gives the military salute as the Wehrmacht cavalry unit passes before him. This photo was taken by Kriegsberichter Casper on October 1, 1939 in the area around the streets of Wolska, Warsaw, Poland. In the background on the right is part of the Polish Social Insurance Institution building, while to the left is a private house of count Zdzisław Grocholski (addressed at Wolska 54). Finally, the building with the tower in the left-center is St. Wojciech Church.
