In the foreground is General der Fallschirmtruppe Kurt Student (Kommandierender General der Fallschirmtruppe). The car looks like an American made circa 1938-39, possibly a 1939 DeSoto. For four long years of occupation the building was a command centre for the German army in Crete.Source :
