Curt Badinski and Gerhard Feyerabend

Wehrmacht officers in conversation. The Ritterkreuzträger at left is Generalmajor Curt Badinski. He was the commander of 276. Infanterie-Division during the Invasion of Normandy and surrendered to the American Forces in August 1944 in the Falaise Pocket. Second from right is Generalmajor Gerhard Feyerabend (Chef des Generalstabes 1. Armee). The picture was probably taken in May 1944.
