Inauguration of U-boat Base at St. Nazaire

During the inauguration of the U-boat base of Saint-Nazaire, France, Vizeadmiral Karl Dönitz and Fritz Todt observe the entry of the U-203 submarine before meeting its commander, Kapitänleutnant Rolf Mützelburg. The picture was taken on 29 June 1941 by Kriegsberichter Kurt Schlemmer of Marine Propaganda-Abteilung West.
