Hans Stern (2 May 1907 - 30 March 1972) received the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on 15 July 1941 as Hauptmann and Chef 3. Kompanie / I.Abteilung / Panzer-Regiment 11 / 6.Panzer-Division, and later transferred to the Waffen-SS with the last rank as SS-Obersturmbannführer.
