Ritterkreuzträger (Knight's Cross recipient) Oberfeldwebel Wilhelm "Willi" Freuwörth from Jagdgeschwader 52 (JG 52) shares his experiences with the boys from the air section of the Hitlerjugend in Rossitten, East Prussia, 16 July 1944. In his sleeve is a cufftitle of "Jagdgeschwader Schlageter", the nickname of Jagdgeschwader 26 (JG 26), the first unit of Freuwörth. He received the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on 5 January 1943 as Feldwebel and Flugzeugführer in 2.Staffel / I.Gruppe / Jagdgeschwader 52 after 53 air victories (his total is 58).
