Oberstleutnant Eberhard Rodt with his newly received Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes (Knight's Cross of the Iron Crosses). He got the coveted medal in 25 June 1940 as an Oberstleutnant and Kommandeur Aufklärungs-Abteilung 25 / 25.Infanterie-Division.
