Hans-Ulrich Rudel at a DRP Meeting

Hans-Ulrich Rudel (1916-1982), a former Oberst in the German Luftwaffe, attends a meeting of the DRP (Deutsche Reichspartei) in the Rotmain Hall, Bayreuth, 2nd September 1953. He is accompanied by his mother. Rudel was forbidden to address the meeting by the Bavarian Ministry for the Interior, but others were permitted to read portions of his speech to the assembly.
