12 March 1942: Ritterkreuz award ceremony for Generalleutnant Agustín Muñoz Grandes, Commander of 250. Infanterie-Division (Spanien), a unit of Spanish volunteers and conscripts that served in the German Wehrmacht on the Eastern Front (better known as División Azul, Blaue Division, or Blue Division). The officer awarding the medal behind is General der Kavallerie Georg Lindemann (Oberbefehlshaber 18. Armee). The picture was taken by Kriegsberichter Hausen.
