Polizei Uniform of Wilhelm Schlüter

Police tunic to Major der Schutzpolizei and later SS-Sturmbannführer Wilhelm Schlüter, auctioned at Ratisbon's. Schlüter was awarded the Ritterkreuz serving as commander of SS-Artillerie-Regiment 54 on 23 August 1944. He was later ordered to SS-Freiwilligen-Panzergrenadierdivision "Nederland".

Early prewar Schutzpolizei tunic. März 1939 dated "Schlüter" name tag to the inner pocket. The tunic was "ROBERT KAUERT". Machine-attached collar tabs, hand-attached officer's hand-embroidered sleeve eagle. Hand-embroidered SS member's badge underneath the breast pocket attached by hand. All buttons complete. Two pair of loops for two awards as well as one pair for a ribbon bar. Fine silk lining. Good condition.
