Armeekorps), General der Infanterie Johannes Blaskowitz (Oberbefehlshaber 8. Armee), and Generalmajor Hans-Gustav Felber (Chef des Generalstabes 8. Armee). The picture was taken by Kriegsberichter Alfons Rieger from Propaganda-Kompanie 501 (PK 501).

This photograph was taken in Warsaw, Poland, on October 1, 1939 by Kriegsberichter Alfons Rieger of Propaganda-Kompanie 501 (PK 501), and shows Wehrmacht officers from the 8. Armee gathering in the city center during a small victory parade for celebrating the fall of the Polish capital to the Germans (which took place a few days earlier on 28 September 1939). The officer facing the camera on the left is General der Infanterie Johannes Blaskowitz (Oberbefehlshaber 8. Armee). He wore the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes around his neck, which he had only gotten the day before straight from Hitler's hands. Another officer with his back to the camera is Generalmajor Hans-Gustav Felber (Chef des Generalstabes 8. Armee), while blocked by him (only visible his cap) is General der Kavallerie Maximilian Reichsfreiherr von Weichs (Kommandierender General XIII. Armekorps). Another officer who is watching on the right is Generalmajor Paul von Hase (Kommandeur 46. Infanterie-Division). BTW, the car parked on the left is a Kfz.15 Horch 901, which is a standard staff car for middle and high ranking officers of the Wehrmacht
