The Ritterkreuzträger at left is Oberst Johann Schalk, who received the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on 21 August 1940 as Oberstleutnant and Gruppenkommandeur III.Gruppe / Zerstörergeschwader 26 (ZG 26) "Horst Wessel". There is no information about when and where this picture was taken, but possibly in the visit of unknown Luftwaffe general (bottom picture).
