This picture was taken on 13 May 1934 in Karlsruhe, during the inauguration of the Heeres-Museum (Museum of the Army). From left to right: Robert Wagner (Gauleiter von Baden), Generalleutnant Curt Liebmann (Kommandeur 5. Division der Reichswehr in Stuttgart und Befehlshaber Wehrkreis V), and Oberstleutnant Friedrich-Carl Cranz (Stabsoffizier 5. Division). Cranz would received the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes during World War II, on 29 June 1940 as Generalmajor and Kommandeur 18. Infanterie-Division.
