Close combat course handed out by Leutnant Josef Fitzek (Zugführer in 5.Kompanie / II.Bataillon / Grenadier-Regiment 482 / 262.Infanterie-Division), holder of the Ritterkreuz and Nahkampfspange. Ostfront, October 1943. Very much posed, if very nice, photos. The MP-40 sling, as most slings even today, are ill suited for using it that way. Either just around the neck or loose. Even the manual said so. Put the guys are putting up a nice show!
