SS-Sturmbannführer Gerhard "Gerd" Bremer (Kommandeur SS-Panzeraufklärungs-Abteilung 12 / 12.SS-Panzer-Division "Hitlerjugend") photographed in 3 March 1944 during a military drill with Hitlerjugend Division at the Beverloo Training Ground, Belgium. He was awarded the Knight’s Cross for outstanding leadership during the initial phase of the Operation Barbarossa with Leibstandarte Division and on 26 November 1944 the Oak Leaves with Hitlerjugend Division.
