Generalfeldmarschall Albert Kesselring (back to the camera, Oberbefehlshaber Süd) is standing in front of the German quarters in the Monte Soratte sector, Italian Front, while in conversation with the officers of the Luftwaffe, an armed guard in front of it. Nearest to the camera and getting into a Mercedes Benz is Generalmajor Siegfried Westphal (Chef des Generalstabes Oberbefehlshaber Süd). The picture was taken on 5 October 1943 by Kriegsberichter Engel from PK (Propaganda-Kompanie) 699.
